지나가면서 외관이 고급스러워 보이는 마사지샵을 발견했다. 

As I was passing by, I found a massage shop with a luxurious-looking exterior.

 

페이스북이나 홈페이지를 통해 예약 할 수 있다. 워크인이 가능했다는 사람이 있지만 정말 운이 좋아야 가능하므로 예약은 필수라고 생각하면 된다. 나는 당일 오후에 홈페이지를 통해 예약을 했고 다행히 저녁에 가능하다고 답변을 받았다. 

You can make a reservation through Facebook or the website. Some people say that walk-ins are possible, but you really need to be lucky, so consider making a reservation a must. I made a reservation through the website that afternoon and luckily received a reply saying it was available in the evening.

 

 

타이마사지 1시간짜리 예약했다. 다른 마사지샵에 비해 가격이 비싼 편이긴 하지만 시설도 깨끗했고 위치도 좋았으므로 만족한다. 보통 다른 곳은 한시간에 300바트~400바트 하는 것 같다.

I booked a one-hour Thai massage. Although it is a bit more expensive than other massage shops, I am satisfied because the facilities are clean and the location is good. Usually, other places charge around 300 to 400 baht per hour.

 

시간에 맞춰 도착하면 예약자 이름을 물어보고 결제는 카드로 할 것인지, 현금으로 할 것인지 물어본다. 카드로 할 경우 수수료가 붙는다 하여 현금 결제를 했다. 

When you arrive on time, they will ask you for your reservation name and whether you want to pay by card or cash. I paid in cash because I was told there would be a fee if I paid with a card.

 

내부는 솔직히 좁은 편이다.

The interior is honestly a bit cramped.

 

웰컴티를 주시면서 클라이언트 양식을 주면서 작성을 하라고 한다.  마사지 강도나 피하고 싶은 부위 등 체크를 하면 그에 맞춰 마사지를 진행해준다.

They give you a welcome tea and ask you to fill out a form. If you check the massage intensity or areas you want to avoid, the massage will proceed accordingly.

지압은 적당한 편이었으며, 프라이빗룸이 별도로 있어 그 점 또한 좋았다. 친절하고 다음에 치앙마이에 가게 된다면 재방문 할 의사는 있다.

The intensity was moderate, and it was also nice that there was a separate private room. It was friendly and I would definitely visit again next time I go to Chiang Mai.

마사지가 끝나면 생강차와 디저트를 준다. 저 쿠키는 치앙마이 마사지샵의 시그니처인 것 같다.

 

After the massage, they serve ginger tea and dessert.
